French online and land gambling group reports GGR up 54 percent on a turnover increase of 30 percent
The French online gambling group and service provider France Pari delivered an impressive performance in 2013, releasing numbers this week that show wagering volumes doubled.
The company reports that turnover was up 30 percent at Euro 12.5 million, and that sports GGR soared 54 percent to Euro 2.1 million. Margins were up over 2 percent at 19.2 percent (2012: 17.9 percent)
Company president Hervé Schlosser said:
“France Pari is outstripping the 15 to 20 percent growth of the online betting market in France,” revealing that FP’s business-to-business unit Sportnco earned royalties of over Euro 500,000 during the year.
The company’s b2b department provides betting services to almost half the operators active in the French market, including NetBet, JOAonline, France Pari and PMU-subsidiary Genybet.
“All Sportnco clients recorded strong growth in 2013,” Schlosser revealed. “We launched our new platforms Feelingbet and Genybet during the second half the year. Genybet had decided to expand its activities from horse racing pari mutuel to fixed odds sports betting and we assisted them to do that.”
Schlosser says the group is currently focused on providing mobile betting facilities, and b2b client launches are on track for Q1-2014.
