Endorphina Review

Verdict
Endorphina seems to be ok - players enjoy their games, and you’d have to admit that their art department is quite talented.

Endorphina may not be the biggest name in online gambling, but this online slot developer is composed of some of the most skilled mathematicians, designers, and programmers in the industry… and, by using cutting-edge technology, they’ve managed to create a portfolio of games that appeal to ALL types of player.
One of the core mottos that Endorphine have always strived to follow, is that their games are “built to be enjoyed by players with ALL playing preferences’ ‘. This means, many of their games can be played at ‘low-roller’ stakes, as well as ‘high-roller’ stakes - just one of the ways the developer caters their releases to suit the needs of as many players as possible.
In the last few years, Endorphina has really “upped their game” - and their releases are now extremely high-quality, action-packed and exciting. There’s fantastic win potential to be found in most of their titles, and unique mechanics like their “Bonus Pop” make them serious competitors to larger, more well-known software providers. On this page, we’re going to be looking at what Endorphina is all about - and what games they have to offer!
Software Platform
In the past, Endorphina - like all game developers - developed their games using Flash-based technology. While this was fine at the time, it did mean players usually struggled to play them from their mobile devices. However, in the last few years, the game developer has ported their game portfolio over to HTML5. This means, today, you can enjoy the developer’s hit games like Samarkand’s Gold and Cyber Wolf from your mobile devices.
Endorphina’s games are fast-loading, high-quality and visually appealing. The games render perfectly across multiple devices - and below, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the different video slots they have to offer.
Slot Games
In the following section we’re going to take a look at some of Endorphina’s most popular slot machines. The games shown below can all be played online, although players from the UK and other European countries may struggle to find the titles, as not all their games are licensed globally.
Samarkand’s Gold
Samarkand is an ancient Asian city - and while history has, largely, forgotten about this once-prosperous city, Endorphina has decided to bring it back to life in their latest release, Samarkand’s Gold. Built around a 5-reel, 4-row format, Samarkand’s Gold uses a 1024-ways-to-win format - meaning matching three or more symbols on adjacent reels from left-to-right will result in a win.
Dazzling graphics meet you as soon as you load up the game, and if you manage to land three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view you’ll trigger the main free spins bonus round. This awards you with 8, 15, or 20 free games. There’s also a nifty gamble feature, allowing you to double your winnings up to 10 times!
Like we’ve seen many software providers do in recent years, Endorphina has also chosen to incorporate a bonus buy mechanic into the slot. This allows you to purchase direct entry to the free spins feature. The bonus buy feature is called “Bonus Pop”.
Book of Vlad
Book of Vlad is a Halloween-themed video slot from Endorphina that follows the life of Vlad the Impaler - a terrifying figure from what is now Romania who was known for his gruesome torture methods. The game features stunning graphics - and the reels are set against a majestic castle with gargoyles lining both sides of the reels.
Landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view will trigger the main free spins bonus round - and this awards you with seven free games. Any symbol can be chosen, at random, to expand - aside from the scatter symbols. If you manage to land one of the “blood drop” symbols on the reels, one cell will be re-added to the collective accumulator meter which appears on the screen.
Every time you activate this accumulator, two more free games are awarded. It’s also possible to win additional free spins by landing another three or more scatter symbols during the bonus. There’s also a gamble feature - letting you try to double your winnings up to ten times - and a bonus buy feature is available to players in certain jurisdictions.
Glory of Egypt
Almost every game developer has an Egyptian-themed slot in their portfolio, and Endorphina is no exception; Glory of Egypt is one of their latest releases, and if you manage to please Cleopatra and Julius Caesar, you could find yourself walking away with thousands of times your stake!
Glory of Egypt is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there’s 10 fixed paylines in play at all times. Landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view will trigger the main free spins bonus round - although there are no special multipliers or wilds added to the reels during the bonus round.
Players in certain jurisdictions can use the bonus buy feature to buy direct entry to the bonus round, and there’s also a gamble feature which lets you try to double your wins up to ten times.
Fisher King
Fantasy games are loved by players from all corners of the world - and Fisher King is a new Fantasy-themed release from Endorphina. The game follows the life of an old fisherman - trapped inside his castle due to a nasty injury. However, there’s one chance to cure him - the Holy Grail lifeblood - and, as the player, your job is to help him locate this Grail.
When you begin playing, landing the Holy Grail symbol on the reels will see the broken heart symbol underneath the reels replenished with lifeblood - and if you manage two drops, the Fisher King will be set free.
There’s also an exciting free spins bonus round that’s triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so will award 10, 15, or 20 free spins respectively - and during the free spins, the wild symbol becomes stacked on all reels. A bonus buy function is available - location-depending - and there’s also a gamble feature.
Cyber Wolf
Endorphina claims that somewhere in the world, a group of scientists trained an ordinary wolf to become a Cyber Wolf - although we’ve been unable to verify the validity of this claim. However, one of their latest releases - Cyber Wolf - gives more credibility to their theory, and this wolf-themed video slot offers cutting-edge graphics and a great audio soundtrack.
Cyber Wolf is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there’s 10 fixed paylines in play at all times. If you land three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view you’ll trigger the free spins bonus round, and this awards you with 8 free games.
Before the free spins begin, a symbol is chosen at random - and is “endowed” with a so-called wild capacity. Each time you activate the accumulator meter, one more free game will be awarded.
Like all of the games on this list so far, Cyber Wolf contains a bonus buy feature along with a gamble round. The latter allows you to try to double your winnings up to ten times.
Lucky Cloverland
While some of us may be sick and tired of Leprechaun-themed games, there’s some players that love them - and that’s probably why one of Endorphina’s latest releases is titled Lucky Cloverland! Set deep within an enchanted forest, the game is based around a small Leprechaun who guards the area - and it’s built around a 5-reel, 4-row format. There are 40 fixed paylines in play at all times.
The Pot of Gold symbol is wild, substituting for all of the other symbols in the game - and it appears stacked on reels two, three, and four. If you can land three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view you’ll be awarded seven free games - and during the free spins, extra wild symbols are added to the reels. Before the free games begin, one symbol is randomly selected to have the wild capacity - transforming it into a wild for the duration of the bonus round. A bonus buy and gamble feature are also available.
2022 Hit Slot
While it may not be the most creative slot name in the world, 2022 Hit Slot - unsurprisingly, a 2022 release from Endorphina - packs a punch, and it offers some pretty decent gameplay. It’s built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there are 22 fixed paylines in play at all times.
While there’s no bonus round present, the scatter symbols are paying scatter symbols - and these can award some surprisingly decent payouts. There’s also a gamble feature which allows you to try and double your winnings up to ten times.
Book of Lady
Book of Lady is a game that was released to honor International Women’s Day - and when the game developer says it’s “inspired by women”, it’s not hard to see this in action. In fact, the software provider states: “We want every woman to feel praised, loved, and appreciated for everything they do. With this, we hope our new game can bring some extra smiles, warmth, and some chic fashion tips and advice around the globe!
Book of Lady also contains an exciting free spins feature, and this is triggered by landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so will award 10 free games. Before these free spins are awarded, one symbol is chosen to expand at random - and during the free games, this symbol will expand when three or more instances of it land in view.
If you manage to re-trigger the bonus round, not only will you be awarded an additional 10 free games - a second symbol will also be selected to expand. It’s possible for up to nine symbols to transform into expanding symbols - offering some pretty significant win potential!
King of Ghosts
Legend has it that, back in ancient times, there was a King of Ghosts who resided in the distant lands of what is now China. His life was a constant balancing act bewteen being among the living and the dead - and he attempted to protect and care for all of those who approached him needing help.
King of Ghosts is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there are 20 fixed paylines in play at all times. The game’s symbols are all theme-specific, including Chinese coins, a Sword, a Golden Bat, and a traditional Chinese Fan.
The King of Ghosts is a wild symbol - and this wild substitutes for all symbols bar the scatter symbols. Landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view triggers the free spins bonus round, and this awards you with 12 free games. During the bonus round, there’s an expanding wild feature active, along with random multipliers.
Each time you form a win, the free spins ghosts will try to steal your win - but if the King comes out, he’ll not only protect your win - but award a random multiplier of up to 10X, increasing your win exponentially!
A bonus buy function is available (location-dependent), and a gamble feature allows you to try to double your winnings up to ten times.
Water Tiger
Water Tiger is a release especially designed for 2022 - and it honors the Chinese Zodiac - after all, this is the year of the Water Tiger! The game is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there’s 20 paylines active. The game’s highest paying symbol is the rare white tiger - and lining up 5-of-a-kind combos of this tiger will result in big payouts!
If you manage to land 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view, you’ll trigger the main free spins bonus round. This will award you with 10, 15, or 25 free games respectively. During the bonus round, the wilds expand - covering all positions on the reels! There’s also a bonus buy and gamble feature.
Dynamite Miner
Dynamite Miner is a slot set in a rocky and remote area - an area that’s long been abandoned. However, it turns out that all the equipment and tools remain intact - and this allows you, the player, to explore the mine - and hopefully unlock all of the hidden treasures inside!
Dynamite Miner is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and there’s 20 fixed paylines. Whenever the wild symbol lands - and it doesn’t form part of a winning combo - it will explode and blast all of the symbols around it.
Landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view triggers the free games around. During the free spins and the base game, by the way, cascading reels are active. Any time you hit a winning combination, the winning symbols pay you - and they then disappear from the reels, with new ones dropping down to take their place. There’s also a multiplier present; during the base game, this increases up to 5X, and during the free spins bonus round, this increases up to 15X.
The free games can be re-triggered, and there’s a bonus buy and gamble feature present.
Voodoo
Voodoo is one of Endorphina’s most successful video slot releases, and as the name suggests, the slot features all around the creepy, violent world of Voodoo. Featuring realistic-looking graphics and imagery, the slot is favoured by players for its exciting bonus round, and the base-game plays well too, making a great all-round slot.
The Vikings
There doesn’t need to be much explanation as to what “The Vikings” is about - and as you can probably expect, the slot features a selection of Viking characters on the reels, combined with realistic-looking symbols, including a Vikings Shield and a Viking Longboat. An exciting bonus round offers single-spin wins of over 1,000X, and the high volatility of the slot will be particularly attractive to players in search of bigger wins.
Stone Age
If you’ve ever wanted to venture back to the caveman era, then you’re in luck - because Stone Age - a video slot from Endorphina - immerses you in this ancient world. Great graphics, a wide variety of staking options… it’s not hard to see why the game’s become one of the developer’s most popular releases!
Sushi
Sushi… you either love it, hate it, or want to run screaming at the thought of it… and that’s why Endorphina’s “Sushi” is either loved, or hated by those that play it! Featuring an uncommon 3X3 layout, the game benefits from double symbols (like we’ve seen in NetEnt’s “Flowers” - and overall, despite the strange theme, the game plays well, and can dish up some big wins, too!
